WELCOME TO SUPPORT DEMOCRACY 2022

Your support for democracy is needed now more than ever. Democracy is under attack in the United States like we haven’t seen in a very long time. Shifting demographics and redistricting (aka gerrymandering) have resulted in efforts to suppress voter turnout in many states. These efforts have largely been fueled by the promotion of former president Donald Trump’s big lie claiming significant levels of voter fraud in the 2020 elections. So far, there has been no proof of this claim. Amazingly, many individuals and elected officials continue to cling to the coat tails of a defeated president that does not have the intestinal fortitude to acknowledge he lost in an election that has been determined, by his own administration, to have been a free and fare election absent of significant fraud. The potential damage to democracy in the United States resulting from the support and promotion of Donald Trump’s big lie should not be taken lightly. The damage done in Washington D. C. on January 6, 2021 should have given pause to supporters of Trump’s big lie. Instead, public officials in key battleground states have bet they can retain power by enacting new laws that make it more difficult for some groups of people to cast votes, or easier to cancel legitimate votes they think help their opponent. This site encourages all U. S. citizens of legal age to vote. Complacency at the ballot box is what will ultimately spell disaster for democracy in the United States. Become familiar with voter requirements in your state. Voters in battleground states should look closely at new legislation that may effect their ability to vote and have their vote counted. Below are links to sites that may be helpful to individuals who are looking for specific voter information or who want to support candidates that have a record of integrity and have not been involved with the promotion of Donald Trump’s big lie.
